Learn how to change your moods, your health and your life in profound ways with a new PBS television program hosted by James S. Gordon, MD, a Harvard educated psychiatrist and one of the world’s leading experts in mind-body medicine. As a Clinical Professor at Georgetown Medical School and Founder/Director of the Center for Mind-Body Medicine in Washington, DC, Dr. Gordon believes that unhappiness is a sign that our lives are out of balance. Frankly, sometimes we are simply stuck. His new television program, taped at KPBS TV in San Diego, is a practical guide for viewers, a simple seven-step journey that can change and transform lives.

UNSTUCK with James S. Gordon is designed to help those experiencing stress, anxiety, and dissatisfaction, as well as millions of Americans who are diagnosed with clinical depression.
Dr. Gordon demonstrates his approach in a way that's easy to understand and gives people the tools to help themselves, without antidepressants or other drugs. The groundbreaking, inspiring program, which he has successfully used in the U.S. and around the world, offers easy but powerful exercises that reduce stress and uncover the joy in life.
With forty years in private practice, Dr. S. Gordon developed his UNSTUCK approach by working closely with the world’s leading physicians and researchers, and studying with traditional healers from India, Tibet, Africa, China and the Americas. For ten years, he was a research psychiatrist at the National Institute of Mental Health and he also served as Chairman of the White House Commission on Complimentary and Alternative Medicine Policy. Dr. Gordon is the author or editor of twelve books.
