John Wray is a young novelist who is also a critical darling. Zach Galifianakis is an actor beloved by hipsters and frat boys alike. They swap places in this video, where the real Galifianankis displays his...AHEM...keen understanding of the writer's life. I want his typewriter!
By the way, if you haven't read Wray's third novel "Lowboy," I recommend it. It was widely praised (it came out in paperback in February), with reviewers mentioning him in the same breath as Joseph O'Neill, Jonathan Lethem, and Junot Diaz. Wray wrote much of the novel about a 16-year-old New Yorker named Will while riding the New York City subway.
