Early this month, U.S. attorneys across the state issued an order for commercial medical marijuana dispensaries to shut down.
San Diego's U.S. Attorney Laura Duffy was one of the prosecutors issuing shut-down notices to local dispensaries. Now, a lawsuit has been filed in California accusing the U.S. Department of Justice of overstepping its authority.
