Navy Bomb Patrol Unit Hosts Kids Career Day in San Diego (Video)

The children of one of the Navy's elite bomb squads got a taste of what their moms and dads do for a living at a special career day in their honor in San Diego.

The San Diego-based Explosive Ordnance Disposal Expeditionary Support Unit One hosted the event.

So what makes the EOD force so important? According to the Navy:

The U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal force...enables Special Operations and conventional forces to access denied areas. Navy EOD technicians and Navy Divers are instrumental in clearing the way for further combat operations.
