Video Of Camp Pendleton Corpsman Saving Baby Bunnies Goes Viral

Camp Pendleton Navy corpsman feeding baby rabbit.

An anonymous Camp Pendleton-based Navy Corpsman has taken the Internet by storm by posting video of the baby rabbits he rescued and nursed back to health in his barracks.

Calling himself Tokyomaneater69, the Corpsman posted pictures and videos on Reddit of the four newborn rabbits he rescued a few years back:

"I found 4 tiny rabbits in a hole next to a dead rabbit... I bottle fed them 4 times a day for 2 months."

Buzzfeed was the first big media outlet to shine a light on the Corpsman's rabbit-rescuing activities, writing:

This could be the sweetest thing ever, or it’s a diabolical plan to capture the hearts of every animal lover that’s ever lived.

Here's video the Corpsman posted on YouTube of him feeding one of the baby rabbits. It's so adorable, it hurts:

When they are adults he can release them to be eaten by owls or coyotes the first night.

They could also become pets. There are domesticated rabbits and these have internet fame going for them. Alternatively a chidren's zoo or classroom may want to adopt them.
I would not bet on their surival in the wild either, but that is not the only possible outcome.
