Raise your voice and tell your story! Join us to learn all about graphic-novel memoirs and take a shot at writing about your own lived experience.

Participants will receive a copy of the 2024 Teen Selection “Victory. Stand! Raising My Fist for Justice,” by Olympic Gold Medalist Tommie Smith, Derrick Barnes, and Dawud Anyabwile (Illustrator), while supplies last.

Celebrating One Book, One San Diego! KPBS, in partnership with local libraries, brings community closer together through the shared experience of reading and discussing the same book.

Please note, this program is for teens ages 12-18 only.
