Nude art stirs up Escondido
Three women have contacted a downtown gallery in protest, threatening to start a petition and appeal to the city council if a nude painting is not removed. They say the painting of a naked man is pornographic.

- Robert Ferguson , a fine art painter. He works in both landscapes and nudes.
- Melissa Inez Walker , the owner and director of Distinction Gallery in downtown Escondido. She's also a photographer who works almost exclusively with nudes.
