As she proved in her first two films, Walking and Talking and Lovely and Amazing , filmmaker Nicole Holofcener has an acute ear for dialogue and a perceptive eye for what makes contemporary women tick. Her latest film, Friends with Money (opening on April 7 at Landmark's La Jolla Village Theaters) stars Frances McDormand, Catherine Keener, Joan Cusack and Jennifer Aniston and is set in Los Angeles.
