San Diego City Council voted themselves another $1.3 million to cover their legal bills. KPBS reporter Alison St John has more.
The San Diego city council members recused themselves from the room, one after another, as council voted to approve what is now a total of $3 million in legal fees. The money is for attorneys for current and former elected city officials involved in the Securities and Exchange Commission's investigation into bond disclosure practices.
