The Del Mar racing season is only a few weeks old, but the number of horses euthanized is well above average. What's causing the increase? Host Tom Fudge speaks with the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club about what happened, how they're dealing with it, and the $8 million plan that might solve the problem.

The 2006 Del Mar racing season runs daily, except Tuesdays, through September 6th.
