Attorney Interprets Mt. Soledad Rulings

Last week, the 4th District Court of Appeals upheld as constitutional the voter-approved City of San Diego ballot measure to transfer land under the Mt. Soledad Cross to the federal government. Also last week, a federal judge refused to dismiss the city from a lawsuit challenging the transfer of the cross to the federal government. What exactly does the decision of the California 4th District Court of Appeals mean to the future of the cross atop Mount Soledad? Basically, the court upheld a voter-approved measure to transfer the land under the cross to the federal government.
