The numbers tell the story. Of the almost 200,000 California inmates, at least 95% are eventually released back into our communities. The problem is that too many rotate back behind bars. They commit more crimes or violate their parole. It’s a risky situation for law-abiding Californians. But San Diego County will soon begin a program to discourage the revolving door of recidivism. This under the leadership of San Diego County District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis who talked with host Gloria Penner about the program.
