Tom Fudge: The late Andy Warhol once said his definition of great photograph is, "one of a famous person that is in focus."
By that measure, Annie Leibovitz is surely a great photographer because she has taken a lot of well-focused pictures of the rich and the famous. Most people know her work from the celebrity shots that appear on the front of magazines like Vanity Fair .
But she does get respect as a serious photographer. And on Saturday, an exhibition of her work opens at the San Diego Museum of Art. The Annie Leibovitz exhibition is one of the things we'll be talking about during today's Weekend Preview.
