Neurologists Shed Light on Migraines
Alison St John (Guest Host): If you are one of the 10 percent of Americans who suffer from migraine headaches, you know the symptoms only too well. And if not, chances are good that you have a co-worker or a relative who suffers from migraines, even if they never let you know it.
Even though migraines are a relatively common affliction, scientists are still trying to figure out what exactly is going on inside the head to cause the sometimes devastating pain.
However, doctors say if you've tried to get help in the past without much success, it's worth going back to the doctor again, because more is known now about the condition and what to do to relieve the symptoms.
