Pioneer of Film Colorization Reflects on His Career

Tom Fudge: Colorization of old black-and-white movies is controversial for today's film makers. But Barry Sandrew only worries about doing it well. He colorized movies for Ted Turner as the head of a company called American Film Technologies. Today, he's still in the business with Legend Films, based in San Diego. He got involved in the business as a neurologist at Harvard, working on colorizing CAT scans.
