Mike Burnell stars as Lee in Reagan's Wharf.
The Second Annual El Cajon Video and Film Festival takes place this Saturday. One of the films featured is a local production called Reagan's Wharf, directed and co-written by Bryan Ott and co-written by Glenn Heath. I spoke with the young filmmakers last month before Ott headed off for a trip to Thailand. Reagan's Wharf plays this Saturday at 1pm at the El Cajon Video and Film Festival . Bryan Ott and Glenn Heath were grad students at San Diego State when they decided to make a feature film. They followed the adage about finding a story in your own backyard or in this case a wharf belonging to Ott's neighbor.
