Tom Fudge : It's a Wonderful Life is a famous Frank Capra Christmas movie and is now in production at San Diego's Cygnet Theatre . The play's title pretty much tells the story. It's called It's a Wonderful Life: The Live Radio Play. If you've every seen Woody Allen's movie, Radio Days , this play is somewhat similar, but the Cygnet Theatre project is much more about retelling the story told by Frank Capra in the movie. On stage, we see radio actors inhabiting the roles we've come to know so well, like main character George Bailey, who owns the Bedford Falls Savings and Loan.
We have a few actors and a radio sound effects man to talk about the play and perform a couple of scenes.
