Consumers Paying Record Prices at the Pump
Tom Fudge: Gasoline prices have become one of our most major inflationary hardships. You should know by now that San Diego is famous, nationwide, for having what are often the highest pump prices of all. Right now, depending on where you buy gas, you are paying in the neighborhood of $3.50 a gallon for Self-Serve Regular. Nationwide, the average American is paying about $3.25 a gallon. That's an inflation-adjusted record.
Meanwhile the price of crude oil is also setting records. A barrel of oil is now more than $100. So what's going on? Michael Shames, what going on??!!
