School Chief Discusses Plan for Improving SDUSD
Tom Fudge : The new school year is well underway in San Diego. But the state education budget wasn't secure until last week, when Arnold Schwarzenegger signed it. The battle over state funding put education officials all over California in a very bad position. For months they wondered how many teachers they may have to lay off.
School finances are not doubt still the number one concern of San Diego School Superintendent Terry Grier. This fall, the school district is also working to pass a school bond. Proposition S would raise more than $2 billion for campus improvements.
