County Updates General Plan for the Future, Calls for Less Growth
Alison St. John: There's so much happening right now these days that it's difficult to look ahead. But the County of San Diego is looking ahead, way ahead, with an update to their General Plan.
The General Plan is like a blueprint for growth in the areas the County is responsible for, which are the areas that are not governed by one of San Diego's 18 cities. In other words, the backcountry.
San Diego County's Blueprint hasn't been updated for 30 years. But a General Plan Update has just been posted on the web and they're looking for feedback.
