Uncover the secrets and hidden treasures of some of the world's most exciting destinations in the second season of TRAVELSCOPE. Renowned travel journalist and author Joseph Rosendo returns as host with his personal perspective on cultural tourism.

The second season includes journeys to locations in North America, Africa, Europe and Asia. Rosendo cruises Alaska's Inside Passage aboard a luxury liner, enjoys wine-tasting in Malibu, celebrates the lantern festival in Chiang Mai, Thailand, canoes past hippos and elephants on a Zambian safari, and discovers that people are, in fact, the greatest treasures in Germany’s Christmas markets.

"Naturally Los Angeles" - While most visitors head for Hollywood or Rodeo Drive, Joseph introduces viewers to some of Los Angeles’ little-known treasures from hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains and wine tasting in Malibu to the Venice Beach drum circle — a weekly celebration of the city’s diversity.

TRAVELSCOPE is on Facebook, and you can follow @JosephRosendo on Twitter. You can view "Travelscope's" photostream on Flickr. Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is on Facebook.
