"We The Owners" presents inspiring stories of employee-owners and founders from New Belgium Brewing, Namasté Solar, and DPR Construction (a San Diego based company) by following their decisions of founding companies, expansion, succession, rapid recruitment, and layoffs.

These real-world stories provide viewers with a "What If…" and inspiration in a time when responsible business solutions are sought in America and the world.

There is a pervasive feeling around the country that change is needed: a change in the way businesses are operated and a change that would allow every worker to benefit from the intellectual and sweat equity of the entire workforce. This film presents the voice of people who are part of this change - employees who are owners.
