California State University San Marcos President, Karen Haynes, is retiring in June after more than 15 years on the job. When she started she was just one of four women who were presidents within the CSU system.
Now more than half of the Presidents within the university system are women.
Haynes saw that major shift in leadership and joined Midday Edition to talk about how much CSU San Marcos has progressed and the legacy she wants to leave behind.
