The House of Representatives debates and votes on articles of impeachment against President Trump — abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

KPBS will broadcast PBS NEWSHOUR's live coverage on Wednesday, Dec. 18 beginning at 6 a.m. on KPBS 2.

PBS will also make live streaming and on-demand coverage available on PBS.org, the PBS app, Facebook, Youtube and Twitter.

House committee debates rules for impeachment vote

The House Rules Committee is scheduled on Tuesday to debate the rules that will govern the House of Representatives' vote on the articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump. The House committee is schedule to convene at 8 a.m. The full House plans to vote Wednesday on two articles of impeachment--abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.

PBS NEWSHOUR (6 p.m. on KPBS 2 + 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on KPBS TV) and AMANPOUR AND COMPANY (4 p.m. on KPBS 2) will provide analysis of the hearings in their respective broadcasts.

KPBS FM will air NPR live special coverage beginning at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, December 18.
