She spoke at the top of the session about upcoming work. She is on the verge of finishing All Clear, a new time travel novel featuring the students and staff of a future Oxford University who use time travel to study history. They are studying London during The Blitz. It will be an in-depth exploration of the British home front during World War II.
Her other two books about the Oxford time travelers are the hilarious To Say Nothing of the Dog , and the chilling and haunting Doomsday Book . & Read them both.
She said that her next project would be a book of short stories. & And she teased us with two of the stories. & One will be about Betsy McCall Paper Dolls, a favorite toy from her childhood. & Another is a Christmas story about a robot who wants to join the Radio City Rockettes.
