Food trucks are hitting Tijuana and the rest of Mexico by storm. These humble kitchens are producing some of the finest and innovative cuisine imaginable. On this episode we visit Telefónica Gastro Park — where else can you find 10 restaurants all in a single stop without even having to re-park?
Then follow along as we meet an engineer from the United Nations who is helping the poor communities of Tijuana by repurposing trash to create recreational areas for residents. Old tires and bottles are recycled into playgrounds, colorful walls, and more through Alter Terra, a nonprofit ecosystem conservation program.
