Disneyland raises prices

A single-day ticket to the theme park now costs $104. The increase comes less than a year after the park raised prices by 18 percent. The park is set to open its much-anticipated Star Wars-themed expansion this summer.

2019 International consumer electronics show

An estimated 200,000 people checked out the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas to get early peeks at the next generation of gadgets that were on display — from talking toilets to flying cars. The show promises devices that will make life easier for consumers. Some highlights include Norm Glasses, a version of smart eyeglasses that are supposed to look normal, and Groove X's robotic pet with the exterior of a teddy bear.

San Diego's start ups broke investment records in 2018

As reported by the San Diego Union-Tribune, venture capitalists invested $2.5 billion in San Diego startups in 2018, a record for the local industry. Will this robust investment trend continue for San Diego's businesses in 2019?
