On 1956 Anniversary, Unrest Rattles Hungary

Hungarians on Monday commemorated the beginning of the 1956 uprising that was crushed by Soviet tanks. But there were also contemporary anti-government protests. The protests have continued on and off since September, after it was discovered that the prime minister lied about the economy to win an election.
