Could Pakistan's Nuclear Stockpile Be Vulnerable?

The political turmoil in Pakistan is stoking fears about the country's nuclear weapons stockpile.

The U.S. has helped Pakistan set up safeguards for the nuclear materials during the past few years but does not have a full idea of how many weapons there are or where they're stored.

Analysts say the concern isn't so much that al Qaida will breach any of the facilities, but that disgruntled scientists may gain access. There's also the ongoing concern about what India may do if Pervez Musharraf is toppled and the nukes become vulnerable.
