Arbour To Head International Crisis Group

Former U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Louise Arbour speaks during a press conference in Mexico City, on February 8, 2008.

Louise Arbour was chief prosecutor for the International Criminal Tribunals for Rwanda and the former Yugoslavia. She then served four terms as the the U.N.'s High Commissioner for Human Rights.

Next, she will be the president and CEO of the International Crisis Group. Her tenure there is slated to begin in June, 2009.
