Blake Davis was just 2 years old when he died of a rare heart and lung condition. But he left behind a legacy of kindness that his parents are working to spread around the world.

Much of Blake Davis' two years on this earth were spent in hospital intensive care units suffering from a rare heart and lung condition.

His parents, Leah and Rob, were constantly asked by friends and family what they could do to help. Out of that question grew the For Blake movement.

The idea is simple — to do something kind for someone else and to do it in Blake's name.

The movement has spread far beyond San Diego and is now reaching people around the globe.

Leah and Rob Davis joined Midday Edition to talk about their son, the For Blake movement, and how easy it is to get involved.
