With as many as 40 percent of our troops returning from Iraq and Afghanistan suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, and suicide rates among active duty and veterans at record highs, HBO's documentary "WARTORN 1861-2010," which premieres tomorrow - Veterans Day - at 9pm on HBO, could not be more timely. The film chronicles what really goes on during war and the impact it has on so many who fight. In the Civil War it was called hysteria. During World War I it was known as shell-shock. In World War II, it was labeled combat fatigue. Now it's PTSD. As the Military Wire blog says, "If you don't have HBO, get it for this series - you may just begin to understand what our service members and their families are experiencing when they get home."
