Scenes From Heralded, Intense PTSD Film "The Dry Land"

Actor Ryan O'Nan, a San Marcos High graduate with several TV credits to his name, made a big splash this year on the big screen in "The Dry Land," a well-received film in which he stars as a young veteran of the fighting in Iraq who returns from the war alienated and confused. O'Nan will be at a special screening of the film tonight at Mission Marketplace 13 in Oceanside (5:30 and 8 pm), as will his proud parents Darrell and Liz O'Nan of Fallbrook. Marshall Fine wrote on Huffington Post that "The Dry Land" is "tough stuff, a small and finely honed film about a massive problem...
