With nary a Pudding Pop or colorful sweater in sight, the Navy today made Bill Cosby an honorary chief petty officer. It turns out Cosby had served in the Navy as a young man (he's 73-years-old now) and has said the experience helped him learn the discipline that prompted his incredible success in the world of entertainment - according to the Stars and Stripes.
The newspaper reports the ceremony took place at the Naval Heritage Center in Washington D.C. The Cos didn't disappoint the gathered audience - who most likely was expecting the funny man to be, well, funny:
