Our leaders have been tip-toeing around this issue, but it looks like President Obama has taken a step forward (or backward, depending on your opinion). Obama told his audience that he has a very delicate balance to hit - to prevent Gadhafi from ordering air strikes on his own people, but making sure the organic, grass-roots protests in Libya, Egypt and other Arab countries don't seem like puppet actions from the United States.
In related news, Obama announced that he chartered United States military and civilian aircraft to help with the refugee crisis at the border between Libya and Tunisia. CNN quoted Obama as saying:
