Former President George W. Bush has said thanks, but no thanks, to President Barack Obama's invitation to join him at Ground Zero tomorrow, according to Politico. Obama is headed to the site where the World Trade Center towers once stood, to honor the more than 2,700 Americans who lost their lives during the deadliest terrorist attack on American soil - at the hands of the late Osama bin Laden.
Bush spokesman David Sherzer told Politico:
I think it's kind of a shame Bush won't be there, as one of the most defining memories of 9/11 and the days that followed was Bush with his bullhorn, encouraging the emergency workers at Ground Zero.
