The Coast Guard is searching for the body of a Navy Petty Officer who disappeared while swimming at Del Mar Beach on the southern part of Camp Pendleton, according to several news outlets. The North County Times reports the man was in his 20s and was dragged out to sea by a rip current. The Coast Guard tells the NC Times that Camp Pendleton military police reported the man missing at 5:30 Thursday afternoon.
