The more than 5000 members of the USS Carl Vinson crew are enjoying some much deserved R and R in Honolulu, Hawaii today. The San Diego-based Vinson reached Pearl Harbor yesterday - its first stop on American soil in more than six months.
MSNBC reports many family members of the Vinson crew have been very worried about the safety of their loved ones, ever since it came to light that Osama bin Laden's burial at sea took place off the deck of the aircraft carrier. Judy Cow, whose husband is a member of the Vinson crew, told MSNBC:
Pearl Harbor is the Vinson's final stop before it heads home to San Diego.
