Alleged Fort Hood Shooter to Face Death Penalty (Video)

The Department of Defense has announced the alleged Fort Hood shooter, Major Nidal Hasan, will be court-martialed and could face the death penalty if he's convicted. Hasan is the Army psychiatrist whom the military says went on a shooting rampage in 2009 at Fort Hood in Texas, killing 13 people and injuring 32 others.

Reuters reports Hasan has connections to Anwar al-Awlaki, a Yemen-based Muslim cleric with ties to al Qaeda:
