What's the best Christmas gift your husband has ever given you? For Marine wife Carla Allen, it probably was the Christmas song her husband Master Sgt. Robert Allen wrote for her while on deployment in Iraq. He sent it to her on Christmas Eve several years ago, and according to Allen:

Allen told the American Forces Press Service the song, called "A Marine's Christmas Song" is about the heartbreaking absence many military wives feel when their husbands are deployed during the holidays. Allen is currently deployed in Afghanistan, and will be there this Christmas. He is deployed with the Marine Wing Support Squadron 371. Home base is at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma in Arizona.

Allen has made a music video of "A Marine's Christmas Song" from Camp Leatherneck, for Carla and his three children. Take a look:
