Gary Sinise to Play Concert for Camp Pendleton Marine (Video)

It's not everyday that a big-name TV and movie star shows up to speak at the Temecula City Council. But yesterday was special.

"CSI: New York" and "Forrest Gump" star Gary Sinise asked the Council Tuesday for permission to perform a benefit concert for injured Camp Pendleton Marine Lance Cpl. Juan Dominguez, according to the Associated Press. Dominguez lost an arm and both legs while serving in Afghanistan, and Sinise hopes to raise enough money to build Dominguez a specially-equipped home.

Not surprisingly, the Council said yes, and now Sinise and his "Lt. Dan Band" are slated to perform March 1st in Temecula's Town Square Park. Tickets go on sale today, and you can click here to buy them.
