I came across the Facebook page for "Deployment Dolls" while visiting the MCAS Miramar page for another story. I was struck by the picture of the dolls, which are actually homemade creations with the face of a deployed servicemember stitched on.
I don't know much about the company that makes the toys, except that it's called "US Deployment Dolls." The company's website claims it is a family-owned business.
