Will this turn into another troops-photographed-doing-bad-things controversy? I don't know. But a group of soldiers in Afghanistan who took pictures of each other posing in giant marijuana fields are now under investigation, according to TMZ.
The gossip website came into exclusive possession of these photos, which appear to show members of the U.S. Army wearing not-military issued ball caps, and displaying their weapons amongst the huge marijuana plants. One photo shows an Army vehicle decorated with pot plants.
TMZ says the photos were taken of soldiers on patrol in Kabul. There identities are unknown. Nonetheless, U.S. Army officials told TMZ the situation is under investigation, adding:
