Pop star Katy Perry plays a brokenhearted woman who discovers her own self-worth when she joins Marines in her new music video "Part of Me." And it turns out she shot pretty much the whole thing at Camp Pendleton. Real-life Marines appear in the video, too...according to Camp Pendleton Patch.
I don't consider myself the world's biggest Katy Perry fan, but I completely dig the video and its female empowerment theme. The song is pretty catchy, too...
