Four U.S. troops were killed Sunday after they were allegedly lured to their deaths by Afghans they believed to be allies, according to NBC News.

The death toll for NATO International Security Assistance Force troops from insider attacks has now reached 51 since the beginning of the year.

NATO forces are still reeling from Friday's insurgent attack on Camp Bastion, the main British base in Afghanistan, which left two U.S. Marines dead.

Information released by NATO ISAF shows 15 insurgents, organized into three teams, conducted the attack at Camp Bastion:

Dressed in U.S. Army uniforms and armed with automatic rifles, rocket propelled grenade launchers and suicide vests, the insurgents attacked Coalition fixed and rotary wing aircraft parked on the flight line, aircraft hangars and other buildings.

Six Coalition AV-8B Harrier jets were destroyed and two were significantly damaged. Three Coalition refueling stations were also destroyed. Six soft-skin aircraft hangars were damaged to some degree.
NATO ISAF forces killed 14 of the 15 insurgents.

A Taliban spokesman told the Associated Press insurgents attacked the base "because Prince Harry is on it" and also in response to the controversial anti-Islam film that's sparked protests throughout the Arab world.
