A brush fire that broke out on Camp Pendleton yesterday is now fully contained, according to the Camp Pendleton Scout Facebook page.
The blaze, which burned more than 80 acres, was sparked by live-fire training. A news release from Camp Pendleton reports the fire began at approximately 10:30 a.m. in the Zulu Impact Area of the base.
The fire did not result in any injuries nor any damage to structures on base.
