Mourners Pay Respects at NIU Campus

Mourners ventured to the center of Northern Illinois University's campus on Saturday. They came in pairs. Friends, students, parents, co-workers. They were there to drop off flowers in front of six crosses on a snow-packed hill. Some wrote messages on the long white "We Are NIU" signs. Others just hugged, cried a little and headed back to their cars.

Reporter Susan Stephens of member station WNIJ reports.
