What Issues Do You Want Local Candidates To Be Focused On As They Compete For Your Vote?

KPBS is looking to hear from you ahead of the primary election on March 3, 2020. We want to ensure our coverage reflects issues that matter most to you.

Instead of candidates setting the agenda, we want to give you the opportunity to let them know what's on your mind. We will then take your questions/issues to the candidates.

So let us know:

— What issues will influence your vote

— What kind of stories you want to hear and read

— What questions you want us to ask the candidates

The more specific the question, the better.

Example: "What would you do in the next 36 months to ease the housing and homelessness crisis?"

KPBS will synthesize all issues and questions we receive, narrow them down to specific themes and ultimately take them to the candidates.

You are part of something bigger. A neighborhood, a community, a county, a state, a country. All of these places are made stronger when we engage with each other in conversation and participate in local decision-making. But where and how to start? Introducing Public Matters.
