Starting Wednesday, state Route 67 between Prospect and Woodside avenues will be closed for two consecutive nights to allow for construction, Caltrans officials said.
The highway will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday so that highway workers can remove temporary construction barriers as part of the Sunny Side Gateway Project, according to Caltrans.
The following ramps were also slated to be closed beginning at 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday: northbound state Route 67 on-ramp from Bradley Avenue, northbound state Route 67 off-ramp to Prospect Avenue, and southbound state Route 67 on-ramp from Magnolia Avenue.
The Sunny Side Gateway Project will link inland San Diego to Santee.
