Xscape reunited briefly in 2005 and again in 2017, performing at the BET Awards and Essence Festival. Burruss opted out of new music, leading Tiny, LaTocha, and Tamika to form XSCAP3, releasing the "Here for It" EP in 2018. In 2021, Xscape faced SWV in a Verzuz battle, reviving interest in their music. The Bravo series SWV & Xscape: The Queens of R&B followed in 2023.
